Cariu

Breeding of deer Cariu the Bogor Representative Was 500 m. from the great side of the road that connected the city and Cianjur of the Representative's Subdistrict, to be precise 71 km from Bogor in the height 200—500 m (below see level), with the temperature of 25o C– 30oC. Breeding of deer was begun in 1993 with the number reached 104 tails, consisted of the Javanese deer kind (Cervus timorensis), Bawean deer (Axis kuhlii) and Totol deer (Axis axis) that respectively was brought in from Ranca Upas, Blitar, Surabaya and Bogor.
